BMS for New Energy Vehicle

The new energy market is very hot in 2018, especially in the new energy vehicles, photovoltaic power generation, wind power and other industries, a variety of new products have been launched. Taking new energy automotive industry for example, a large number of cool techs applications to the rise in new energy vehicles, especially battery management systems and self-driving systems are most obvious.
We all know that new energy is the trend in the future. Many new energy vehicles are constrained by battery technology before. By applying various technologies to develop new batteries, we can upgrade battery management systems. Research and development of new precision resistors and other means to improve the performance of new energy vehicles. Some of these cool techs can improve people's living conditions. The application of forward-looking technology will inspire the development of intelligent cars.
For example, in the battery management system, in order to improve the current detection of the battery, the design scheme of precision shunt is adopted, and the precision shunt is produced by alloy material, which has the advantages of high precision, low temperature drift and so on.
Taking the Shunt Resistor MMS8420 as example, the power of it reaches 15W~36W, tolerance to ±1%, TCR to ±50ppm/ °C. It can accurately feedback the current , transfer to the whole vehicle management system, so that the driver can understand the battery use clearly.
In the new energy market, Tesla is on the cusp of products. It is welcomed by consumers in despite of expensive. We know that its battery management system technology is very superior in industry cars. It also uses high-precision shunt for current sampling. On the other hand, when it comes to Tesla, many people will think of its autopilot system. At present, many Chinese companies conduct in-depth research on battery management systems, and believe that more superior battery management systems will also be developed in the near future.
