Vishay Introduces New 0402/0603 Thin Film Chip Resistors for High-Frequency Applications

Vishay has introduced its new Sfernice CHEP series thin film chip resistors, featuring an AlN substrate for high power handling and high-frequency performance. The 0402 devices support frequencies up to 50 GHz, while the 0603 devices support up to 40 GHz, targeting applications such as 5G/6G, satellite communications, base stations, antennas, and radar.
As high-speed communication and high-power electronics continue to evolve, resistor components are moving toward smaller sizes, higher power, greater precision, and improved high-frequency performance.
Microhm continues to develop high-precision, low-TCR, and high-power resistor solutions for power management, current sensing, and advanced electronic applications.
