The novel high power RF resistor forms a resistor paste into two or more of the resistor bodies, and each resistor body and the input conductor and the ground conductor are connected between the ceramic cap and the ceramic substrate. The input conductor and the ground conductor are respectively located on both sides of each resistor body. One or more resistors are electrically connected to the leads through the input conductors, which are advantageous for both heat dissipation and assembly; in addition, the aluminum nitride ceramic substrate or the yttria ceramic substrate that is combined to facilitate heat dissipation is more advantageous for heat dissipation.
The resistance of high-power RF resistors includes 50 ohms and 100 ohms. The allowable deviation of resistance includes ±1%, ±5%, and 2%. Some special RF resistors can achieve lower accuracy and higher accuracy. Usually, the power of the new RF resistor is 250W or 1/8W~1200W, the frequency is 3Ghz, the standing wave ratio is 1.2:1, and the temperature coefficient of resistance is ≤150PPM/°C in the range of -55°C-+125°C. However, some parameters will vary depending on the manufacturer of each resistor.
The above is the characteristics of high-power RF resistors and the production process. With the continuous advancement of resistance technology, high-power RF resistors can also be customized. MICROHM's high-power resistors can be customized according to the customer's arbitrary resistance.
