First, the chip resistor is unreasonably designed in the circuit to cause damage;
The engineer is designing the chip resistor to be too close to the power transformer. The line impedance at both ends is very small. The inverter does not have a DC reactor and an output AC reactor, so that the rectifier bridge is subjected to the high-amplitude spike current of the capacitor filter. In the form, the chip resistance is thus affected.
Second, the voltage in the circuit is too high, causing damage to the chip resistor; this reason is that the grid voltage becomes high instantaneously, and the lightning strike or surge voltage is too high, and the internal resistance of the power grid is small, and the protection of the grid resistance does not work after breakdown and burnout. In this case, the chip resistor usually burns out.
Third, the damage of other electronic devices causes the chip resistor to be inoperable; damage to other electronic components in the circuit causes damage to the rear-stage circuit and the inverter power switching device, so that the chip resistor is also affected.
Fourth, the quality of the chip resistor is not damaged, which is usually the purchase of a very regular resistor, because the quality of its production is not strictly controlled, it will be damaged after using it for a period of time in the circuit. Usually, the engineer should consider high-end brand resistors such as the MICROHM brand resistors.
The above points are the reasons why the chip resistor is often damaged. In many cases, these reasons can be handled well, and the chip resistor can be safely and effectively operated. Generally, the circuit stable chip resistor can function normally, and the resistor life can also be extended.
